Many stock photo agencies offer free images. Free image of the week, free image of the day, or a whole section of free images.
Stock.Xchng offers only FREE photos - it has a collection of more than 250,000 free stock images. This site is powered by

FeaturePics has galleries of free images created and maintained by photographers. Designers are asked to provide credits to the FeaturePics.com artists when an image is used. All the free images are low resolution 130px thumbnails licensed under the "Blog Use License". Each free image can be purchased under other image licences and in higher resolution.
